I bought this system for July 4th 2010. I have been using every day since then and like it. It looks fantastic and sounds fantastic. It is brilliant for the inside. If you have a large yard and a huge party the volume is not enough, the HC40 might be better.

  2. Ok…so it’s not my huge stereo system. But we are away from home for a while and I needed some excellent sounding music for a small budget, and this small compact bookshelf design really filled the bill.

It has a much larger sound then one would expect. it is simple to use. I like the integrated ipod dock. The base isn’t terrible on the system at all considering its size. The price is very much affordable.

I will use it when I return home in the bedroom or guest room. I can’t say enough excellent about it.. If this is the type of design you need .. BUY IT.. you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks Panasonic for making such a nice, compact, affordable unit.

For the money the Panasonic SC-HC30 is a very excellent buy. The sound is very sharp and clear. What I especially liked was I could mount it on the wall very easily. The IPOD mounting dock is a very nice feature. My kids like playing their IPODs and I use it to play my CD’s.

  4. I bought this unit for my girlfriend so she can have a excellent platform to play her Ipod from. I just went over and took a look at it for the first time. I am very impressed. You can access the playlists and song titles and info and it just looks fantastic. The sound was impressive from such a small unit. it seems very sturdy and is stylish and classy on her mantle. Thumbs up to panasonic for delivering what I hoped was to be a excellent looking excellent sounding product. I am not disappointed in any way. Now I am going to buy one for myself!

We were looking for a compact CD/Radio player for our bedroom that also had and Aux. channel for our XM radio unit. After looking all around our small town we came to the conclusion that what we wanted was either priced too high or was not in stock (which happens a lot here) we found this system on Amazon. The company offered a honest price and fantastic shipping. The stereo was shipped straight away and when it arrived, we found that the sound quality was brilliant. It also comes with a remote and a “sleep” option of 30 minutes or 60 minutes or longer, which is fantastic for the bedroom. It also comes with a wall mount if you want to use it, although it doesn’t take up much room on top of a dresser. One other fantastic feature is that the show lights can be dimmed down so if you are bothered by lights in the bedroom, you can turn them way down. (We have an alarm clock that has show lights so bright, even on the “low” setting, that I swear you can see them from outer space.)
